PHOTOGRAPHY

Photography is my Passion and I’ve been doing it professionally for almost 15 years. Even though I specialize in the smaller members of the community a lot of these little people have grown-up now and I’m finding it just as interesting capturing them now as I did then. I like to shoot in settings where the clients are their most relaxed and comfortable…usually at their homes surrounded by their pets but also at the local beaches and parks. For teens an urban city setting can be visually quite stunning and a bit of a change from the norm.

Dance has become a special favourite and I have also taken on some Portrait Based Commercial work lately.

During SALA in August I am having my first Photographic Exhibition titled

“Fabulous Fifties”- Portraits of Character …which mainly is a photographic study of the Dad’s from my family shoots. They are often overlooked when it comes to photos  but have all the elements for great positive character images…and they don’t object to the odd wrinkle being left in!

In saying that I always aim to bring the beauty out in everybody I photograph whether its a newborn or a grandparent. The images you recieve will be cherished for the rest of your lives so great care is taken to make them timeless and beautiful.

This year I joined the AAPP and I have been lucky to have been awarded six silver awards for my first 2 print judgings which will contribute to me achieving my  Master of  Photography
